Phase 1 at Frenchman’s Creek nearing completion
As highlighted in recent coverage by Golf Course Industry, construction is nearly complete on the initial phase of the golf course improvement project at Frenchman’s Creek Beach & Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Partnering with NMP Golf Construction, Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design led a full-scale transformation of the club’s practice amenities and signature 9th Hole on the South Course:
Overhauled Driving Range: Rebuilt with an expanded capacity, wedge range, uneven lies tee, and a privacy berm.
Expanded Short-Game Complex: Relocated near the first tees to provide a comprehensive, convenient practice area.
Reimagined 9th Hole: Redesigned with striking visual appeal from the new clubhouse while significantly increasing irrigation water storage capacity.

Exciting Upgrades Coming to Frenchman's Creek
Frenchman's Creek Beach & Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida has officially broken ground on a major, summer-long renovation of practice facilities and signature 9th hole on the South Course. Set for completion this fall, the capital improvement project aims to elevate both the playing experience and club ambiance.
Key upgrades include:
Driving Range: A complete overhaul featuring a traditional tee line and a dedicated iron tee area to improve functionality and capacity, along with a new privacy berm.
Short-Game Facilities: Relocating and expanding the short-game and putting complex next to the first tees for a more seamless practice environment offering the ability to practice all shots on and around the greens.
South Course 9th Hole: Reimagining this signature hole behind the clubhouse to enhance aesthetics and increase the storage capacity for irrigation water.
